do it.. :P i wish i could spend more time trying to deduce it |
i had a bad endowment bias with the assumption
2^1-0=2
2^3-1=7
2^5-4=28
2^7-4=124
2^9-x=Answer
see how the powers of 2 are in AP? i was just trying to make logical sense out of the rest of equations |
Well you tried well enough :D
Here's the answer
Its a sequence of cube of prime numbers. Adding one for odd terms and subtracting one from even terms.
1^3 + 1 = 2
2^3 - 1 = 7
3^3 + 1 = 28
5^3 - 1 = 124
And the last one is
7^3 + 1 = 334
:D |
Red is bright or yellow is bright ?
Blue is dark or black is dark ? |
Bored |
1^3 + 1 = 2
2^3 - 1 = 7
3^3 + 1 = 28
5^3 - 1 = 124
And the last one is
7^3 + 1 = 334
^lol
1,2,3,5,7.... is just a bunch of random numbers so i hope you are trolling. The fact that you picked 1,2,3,5,7 means that it is a false sequence because there in no way to explain why you pick them. Or do you want to identify another sequence for us to explain that part of your sequence? Again, you can base it on all even or all odd, or simply some other set of natural numbers, or alternating sequence but it has to be consistent.
In your previous one aswell, you used a=b and c=b to come up with a=c. But that is really stupid if you are calling it a sequence. a=b and c=b simply show your idea of notation for the sequence. "=" certainly did not mean "equal to" speaking mathematically, regardless of how you use it in speech, yet you made a mathematical substitution where a=c to arrive at your flawed sequence/ answer. |
i wasted so much time on 2,7,28,124 so i hope you can explain it another way -_-" |

It's a series of prime numbers.. |
you don't include 1 in prime numbers so please use a better one. |
It's okay if you think they're stupid
I don't care
Guess what I am making if you want to. I'm no expert and I am just doing it for fun ;) |
But that is really stupid if you are calling it a sequence
I never did in the first one. Check :) |
Alright here's a simple one :)
3,6,11,21,? |

That is correct, every term in a sequence should be a different/unique term and shouldn't be coined exactly equal to another term..at least for these very arbitrary sequences..like, if you have two 1s in the sequence, those are unique terms because the procedure used to reach those terms is unique..
..and 1 isnt prime -_- |
Alright guys sorry if I hurt your feelings xD
But I am just trying to make this thread a little interesting :P |
Alright but 3632 is completely legit.. Hope so :P |
for Pankaj_Kalra21:
for virtual_vitrea:
I believe you two must be really good in Maths :P
Since I gave out of the box question and you couldn't answer you got quite frustrated or itched a little. I'm in no way implementing that my question was too hard for you :P It was just a stupid question made for timepass so chill ;) |
i mean i will start my unddergrad work in physics and math this spring..then maybe pursue theoretical physics |
I got 3636 post :D |
I love physics although <3 Maths Average.. Chemistry - Blehh :3
How much were your marks in PCM 12th ? :P |
or maybe take technical math and computers and code.. i dont know yet
How much were your marks in PCM 12th ?
i dont like to talk about that.. |
