i love elf faction.. especially a def based pvp strategy :)
it is really amusing to see enemies gaurdian stack rooted to trees and then trees defend and have over 100 def and the stack of 80+ gaurds only dealing 40-60 damage to them :D |

UnbeatableElf your opponent have more defense than your side,even-though one forgot to bring talent, so your attack always did less dmg to them. also i think one have new-year drink adv and better shield than your side :P
tactics is almost same for both team except that you failed(ignored) to kill 3 sprites early which blocked some druid range attack with in shooting range.
get LG 2 as soon as possible it give +1 defense for you |

| Not sure about dwarves but level 5 elves seems to be weak against magic class. So try to end the battle quick if you're facing wizard or some other magical race. |
Guys, recently Daily News on .ru server made proposal of hiring some translators and asked to translate a text for everyone who wants to be one.
Long story short, my version was graded as not gramatically correct, bleh. Finally, I got mad and decided to post it here:
"All right. Let's start by defying of the fully-fledged nature's build for Elf, it would be the following:
1) 4-th Magic School. It's quite obvios that "Summon elementals" and "Fire wall" spells, which looks most attractive to use, shows up only at 14th level. So, basically, it's acceptable to start play nature's build at the start of 14th level, still, there are some issues about that, which would be descibed in the next paragraph.
2) Ironroot treefolk – is the upgrade of treefolks which has several pros, including: ability to counterattack by bounding enemy troops to the tilt they are standing on, has more defence points, ability "Take roots"(+50% to the defence points, +100% with "stand your ground" perk), higher damage (+3 to min and max dmg). It's considered to be irreplacable creature in Elf's army, especially for nature's build.
IMHO, the beginning of your play as "White Wizard" is meaningless unless you are at 16th level or had paid for the upgrade at 15th level in diamonds.
3) Sharp Brain. By the all means it is. Nature's build is pointless if you like to attack by all troops recklessly. You need to understand many aspects of magic, have patience in your actions (since battles are usually takes longer time to finish), caution and right choice of spells, which is heavily situation-oriented. You have no meteor or chain-lightning spells to boil the ground in AEO; futhermore, sorcery, which helps to cast spells more frequently, is unavailable for you and that all means that you have no right to make mistakes.
Every error on your behalf would lead only to your losses and that's exactly why I frequently see people who used my guides and build drafts losing to every enemy cause of lack of understanding what they need to do to win.
4) Anti FSP. A pity is is, still, what is most important for you is the FSP for other factions, instead of you own. The higher the merrier. The basic principle is that attack or initiative are not important for nature's build (unless it's a hybrid build) at all, while defence is. On the other hand, treefolk, which is your main troop at the battlefield, has more than enough defence (+100% while defending) and 2-3 extra points will not give you any significant difference, while any anti FSP makes all damage (icluding magic one) done to you by the respective faction (obviosly for every faction point it is) reduced by %, which is quite important." |

Three type of builds are available in CL8. mostly luck build which is common in lvl8 elf for hunting and MG etc, but for ST people use battle fury :) and last is rally build which is good for some times. other builds like holy or defense buid are not much common at CL8 |
