I think so. I think about I will buy about 30-50 diamonds via paypal (80 still to much for me as I am student and need to save money for another things) and the rest up to 80 I will buy in Diamond repository. Than the saving for TGI will last maybe 1/2 year and I will be able to enter thieves' guild at combat level 6. But I am little worried about paying so many ˆ via paypal (especially in this game) as I don't have any experiences with it and I am not so good in English. I will probably have to ask for help someone from my country who also play this game and has some experiences with it. |

Also if people only sold it for what it cost why would they waste the time and energy to find people buy the TGI and then sell it for the exact same thing? whats the incentive? |

i agree with Obergon. it's not dubious - it's a service: resellers pay the 1kk the moment the seller gets the TGI. it's truly a service, as the seller doesn't have to wait a few days for the gold. then, a few days later, when the reseller finds a player wanting a TGI, he resells it - obsviously earning a profit.
don't treat sellers who long for months or years to get a TGI and become millionaires as dumb, just for wanting the gold right away at the expense of 5% or so on the deal. it's their prerogative to do so. |

Explain to me why resellers increase their price of TGI, i.e what exactly did they provide EXTRA for higher price? Profit because of improved delivery of service? (e.g reselling resources and arts means no travel required i.e logistics service), better quality? (e.g enhanced or new products, unfortunately, there are no player-built items. yet?) or simply GREED?

This GREED was best shown by resellers bidding in the luxury auction.
TBH this is lords of war AND MONEY. So it is not against the rules, however, as i said earlier, there should be a luxury TAX (to those who had a transaction whatsoever related with said luxury items/estates) for next auction by empire.
I can tolerate TGI resellers from player TGI sources, but not from auction (becuase clearly they have the financial advantage and it is in their own selfish interest to buy the empire auctions and maintain price HIGH). |
As I wrote before, some of you underestimate the risk of TGI price to fall. This market is very narrow and few TGIs put on the market at price circa 1,1k may make resellers not to make profit. If they wait for better price they may never find opportunity for profit. TaQQ and kuzeek bought TGis 5 days ago and they still didnt sell it as far as I checked transfer logs.
The name of this game is Lords of War and Money so it is obvious for me that some players may put making money as the first objective of playing this game. As for some it brings fun to win a battle, for others it is fun to earn gold with clever transactions.
Also such transaction as syrian and Obergon wrote give to the TGI bearer a service of instant gold payment. The price trend lasts to some point and changes you never know when. If I had a TGI I would consider selling it for 1,080k if I did not find a buyer for better price lets say 1,100k for 3-4 days.
What is more, if I were a TGI reseller, I would not buy TGI for more than 1,040k at present situation as 20-30k is not enough profit for me for the risk of loss when the price trend changes. |

If I had 1kk of gold I would rather buy an estate than a TGI. At this price level it is way better to buy TGI with diamonds. If you can't afford to donate, then waiting for better price should be good idea.

| Selling things is a business. In order for a business to stay "in business" it needs to sell items for a profit. Darkelf84 and Taqq are in the business of selling TGI's much like many of us are probably in the business of selling something on the market such as the amulet of luck. If you are here to leave negative comments towards those who sell TGI's you are not helping this thread. Remember they don't leave negative comments in threads towards your market endeavors. If you try to buy an item from a gas station and ask them to sell it for you at the price they paid for it you would look crazy. |
