How do I deal with this guy?

You guys aren't lying about the scaling with you. That is devious. I beat #9 after just spamming days. When you have to defeat 600 black guards with a sorcerer casting mass confusion and mass delay and mass weakness for 19 turns while a 500 stack hex warlock shoots at you over and over it's pretty painful. I noticed the scaling really when I looked at someones squad is smaller then mine at level #12 leader. My army is bigger at level #10 leader, but the scaling should be about the same in difficulty according to your mass army so no discredit to those and theirs tactical ability but notice I'm doing this without spending 300k gold OR having cold or sun weapons.

The killers are not bears or crickets. The SoF monster, the 1000 tigers and the 300 poison ivy are the killers. I can only take two of them out but not all three. |

I would activate the attack buff for an extra bit of damage.
I would drop the dragons and put in the healers.
These can be used to keep your first shooters alive to draw fire for a bit longer.
This then allows you to (especially with a bit of luck) take down enough of the waspworts to be able to cope with the poison.
This means that you can then by consequence stay back and get fully buffed, accepting that there shooter will run out of shots before you do. Better to absorb with stoneskin and evasion all the shots of their creatures than charge into them and shoot at range.
If you induce them to come towards you, they fight with their large creatures against your compact troops, allowing all of yours to hit and your shooter to be in range, while only some of theirs can actually fit in to attack.
I'm not saying it will definitely work, since this is precisely the type of battle that scales up over time and never really gets 'easy', but I think is your best shot. |
I think I lost to my equivalent one twice before I won, this was my equivalent win. Not the same, nor necessarily the same tactics to use (I went full damage output which could be another way)

I liked the event, most of my defeats were due to my lack of hero level or a proper talent distribution

bp99: I know lol you guys are so critical cuz I'm new to this...no they are not the killers, they are major distractors that end up killing you in the end because your focused on more danger I never said they were the killers I know more than you think.
Luigi: I know that bruh, thanks but I'm working with what I got here give a guy a break slim...and you don't neccessarily have to have cold or sun to do events, but they sure do help. Word out.

| For Luigi: Was invited into a clan about 3 weeks ago. Then some obscure dude offered to give me enchanted weapons for quick tourneys. We had a language barrier and he didn't know how to explain to me transfers(Never done it) He thought I stiffed him on his offer and asked me why??? Didn't I get the weapons which I never "agreed" I would get in the first place and then he sent me some jargon "unintelligible" Also the gold he was looking for for each weapon what out of my range at the moment so I said whatever peace thanks nvm...next thing I know like 3 days later I was out the clan. When I first came here in 2015 I made my own clan had like 5 members to be honest. Good buddies. But that was a lifetime ago... |
