Barb T1 and T2 units seem to do well in def build.
Min AP can only get you so far. Try to get as much stats as you can and it should be easier.
But honestly, why do enemy gets T7 units while we at level 10 don't? Spiders especially are so hard to deal with.
Anyone got enough silver for a viable shooter build?

It might be because you have cleared 10 levels more than your friend, or vice versa.
If you've completed level 15, then you can only play levels 10-20
If you've completed 20, then only levels 15-25 etc |

I think I'm going to come back next weekend & complete all battles in a single go.

Problem with finding pernament partner for me is timing when each of us can/want to play. Basically i dont want to waitfor anyone :D |

No, that is not the issue. We had beaten level 5 and I was trying level 10. |

| I did yes, but not at the time. I actually fought the 3rd time by pressing twice on the battle with friend button hoping something would happen (all the other buttons were greyed out)... It actually created a battle open for anyone to join. |

Yes. You need to launch military clan attack and play with clan members for the crystals to add to clan points.
