Mathematically speaking flaming actually increases activity and definitely increases viewership. However i have to agree that activity per player suffers since it discourages people not participating in the flame war from posting lest they suffer some burns from the emanating heat.

I vote for ban any flaming, especially the one who started the conflict.
I know everyone feels very strongly about things but personal insults and provocations/baiting is not appreciated. Can refer to post 24 which started this, in which I responded in post 29 (and I was still polite) and then he brings in personal insults which has nothing to do with the game in post 34. Don’t know why he had to bring in the fact he works in healthcare and he is superior to me who he assumes sit in front of the computer all day playing lordswm.
U can see neutral point of view post 44: where death says that is the problem with the world, people who think healthcare is more important that any other job in the world. If I were a coal miner does this mean my job is insignificant? How dare u look down on others when we are providing in other aspects of life too |
This is my intention as lyn said. Don’t know why people assume I hate players and think everyone in this server is a noob.
he wants other players to try instead of just copying what the best players do and if they still cannot do the event then they can message him privately for help.
Why should I help others when nobody helps me in forums? If u want to share ideas I’m all down for it but it has always been one way road where players don’t share their battles here and then come back after the event concludes saying oh look I made it top 100 guys.
Why should I be the fool to waste my points on experience and then get nothing back so others can copy me and get free trip to top100. This should be the way and I am ok with it too, competition is competition. I don’t mind competing for top 100, but to say I think everyone is a noob and I’m posting to brag and not help others when I literaly wrote TIPS on how to play the event today And even added at the bottom to mail me if u tried and are still stuck. Don’t know how some people can take that as me bragging And not willing to help others?? |

I regularly ignore his posts, but I felt that pressing the insecurity issue would actually help him as he clearly didn't realize it. I don't think it would be nicer to let him ignore it.
Overall I would say that he tries to help but his passive aggressive and condescending tone begs for reaction. When you or anybody else asked for help I did but you won't see me bragging about my results. Overall if he feels hurt it would be better for him to understand that his own attitude is what triggers the answers that hurt him.
Now with that said I'll be moving on to another subject too.

I think the occasional ban reminds everyone that there are limits. If I were mod, yesterday I would have banned. Today it's people comparing who has the bigger appendix. It does not reflect well but feels relatively harmless.
Then if you ban people it also increase activity as we have something to collectively whine about ;) By the way, I think some naughty boy has been discussing mod (in)action in OOF. |

I find flaming cute. Keyboard warriors are in abundance. The basement is a lovely place to wage wars from... I guess? :)
I like this event a lot, no re-spec limits; limited number of attempts. Battles per day is just 8, so it's not asking for hours of commitment.
Though I wish similar to the last event it would be great if we could fight this event with Talents as well. I'm fine with stronger opponents, but having a stronger army just adds 'weight' to the battles, if you know what I mean. |

I feel vermins and spawns are quite useful especially in LeG events, rest all are good to have. |

I never implied or said that healthcare is superior to other fields. I just said its ALOT more demanding right now, with the pandemic that's going on. Compared to other sectors, of course it is alot more work rn.
