Author | Prospects of TGI market price |
TGI prices will drop and we'll get the new economy faster
On .ru server not only TGI is cheaper but also MG elements, resources, hunter arts. There is obviously run for gold to afford to take part in turnaments etc. and group fights, which are more popular as it is easier to gather enough players for a fight (at the moment there are over 10,5k players online.
Let's say that we here have all of this coming soon :) |
for BrownBear:
That's just more prof that my analysis at post 115 was correct :)
Let's just hope that all in .ru will be implemented here sooner rather then later. |
So, if someone would pay all the wood on the market and put one lot of wood for 1kkk than this would be the real price for wood?
I always learned that the market price is what people are willing to buy for the goods. But now I learned that this didn't matter any only what you can see on the market is the real price.
That post wasn't about the "real price" of anything. It seems that we lost you somewhere in the conversation.
See that's the problem, he may or may not be the re-seller with the best prices, but I'm trying to say there can be a heck of a lot of 'better' re-sellers... And that should be saying something, like people have been saying all over the thread.
And you have to accuse him of stupidity or delusion when that was what you were trying to say all along. You have a strange way of communicating.
3.1 Those who don't have a TGI want one
I've seen at least 1 Wizard who looks like he doesn't want one. I could be wrong, though.

Just send a mail to him offering a TGI for 10.000 gold (I know it's against the rules to sell this cheap, it's the idea that counts). If he'll say NO, then we'll have a player who doesn't want one.
Now back to the topic: My point was that we(the players) want to experience all that this game has to offer. And then the psychological nature comes into play, as we all tend to want what is forbidden/hard to get (both in life in general and in this game. So yes, I stay with my point of view that "Those who don't have a TGI want one" ;) |
People who talk about free marked is missing the point.
Their is so few suply of TGI that its possible for few people to influence the price. This is a oligopolistic approach that drive up the price, their profit comes from others hard worked enroll's not out of thin air.
This is considered by many as a hurtfull methode and is therefor also illegal in many contries, from which would normally be called free markets.
As I see it moral alone can solve this, as many have stated that they cannot see the harm in this (that is their choice), so its up to admins to do anything.
1. They could implement that people in TG could not buy and invitation.
This would lower prices and cause less people to buy diamons -> admion wont do it.
2. The could allow people to buy invitation for diamonds they could resell, even though they already have bought one.
This will give people a bigger incitement to buy diamonds and would lower prices. So this could be a reasonable fix for this problem. |

Some folks actually donated 80 euros to become thieves. I would consider it unethical and immoral to rip them off by doing anything to drastically lower the price of thief invitations. And then there are those who bought their invitations for the current price. They're going to lose bad if the price of invites would be way lower once they get their invites back. The best situation is for the prices to stay the same. We need resellers to maintain that. |
TaQQ is a great reseller. I dont understand what he is doing.
07-19-11 12:44: Transferred item(s): 'Thief invitation' [1/1] to Nevruga . Transaction price: 1080000 Gold 5 Sulfur 5 Mercury 10 Ore 10 Wood, Commission: 10800. (Price 1.087.000 gold)
07-19-11 10:27: Received item(s): 'Thief invitation' [1/1] from nosteramus . Transaction price: 1090000 Gold
He lost 13.000 gold after tax. |

They use to cost 400k, so lets maintain that price :o)
You can just look at the here and now and see what is best for your own situation. People get frustrated when they cannot get into TG, some don't have the option to buy it with real money, and may be a factor to why people leave the game because they don't want to enrol for a year to get into TG... |
that's not real problem ,I think,
someone rent my TGI and didn't send back one, he just disppear,
2 week later, the price of TGI is up to 1000k~1100k,
so I can say I lost so much, even if I didn't gamble |

I am sure you have never heard of it, but "friendly" is also an English word |

Yes, tell that to the people who bought theirs for at least 1 million gold.

So you're willing to cheat those who donated real money just to satisfy those who sweat imaginary sweat? Nice. |
I have something that seems a very good idea to make special offer for TGI-desperate people and in the same time to make Admins have some income:
Diamond TGI auctions.
Players would bid for TGIs with diamonds. It would not matter if diamonds were bought by donation or in diamond mine. It would encourage many players to buy diamonds and familiarize with paying for the game as well. At the end of auction the winner would get TG membership, not the TGI so that there would be no reselling.
What do you think? |
maybe allowing players to enter TG for 40 diamonds, but getting no TGI at TG5. |

Both of you have interesting ideas. Lexa is online, maybe he'll read them ;) |

That would also be a good idea, it is just a matter for programmers to make it work, so that some players would get TGI and some wouldn't at TG lvl 5. |

Hmm, not sure if this is a good idea.. what if players buy diamonds from the diamond mine to bid on the TGIs and then they don't win? They will be stuck with a lot of diamonds and hardly any gold. |
@what if players buy diamonds from the diamond mine to bid on the TGIs and then they don't win? They will be stuck with a lot of diamonds and hardly any gold
This is good because it will encourage players to buy the diamonds that they miss to the full price of TGI or to make better bid during the auction. Those diamonds could be bought from mine or by donation.
For instance I hace 900k gold. I bid for TGI. I buy 60 diamonds.
1)My offer for 60 diamonds is the best and I win the auction
2) my offer is beaten by 70 diamonds. I have no gold so I buy 11 diamonds by donation and I win the auction. |
For BrownBear:
Yes, but players shouldn't be forced to donate. If they don't donate, they will have to convert game gold to diamonds, which will cost 1.2million gold. That is too expensive for a TGI. |
it is obligatory to bid in auctions so nobony would be forced to donate, just encouraged :) |
Sorry, of course I ment "not obligatory" :) |
