One thing people apparently is missing is this kind of event (along with Cult of the Sun) are the first time we see that in order to play an event to its completion, you NEED to play a specific guild to be able to.
Any other event we had so far, PoT, smuggler, dungeons, tourneys, etc, all players from all combat levels could play them independently of their guild levels or their factions. Sure, better characters will perform better than others, but nobody can't stop a subpar account to farm lower levels in the smuggler event for example and complete it up to lvl 50, or we also know people with 30% win rate at MT that plays 45 battles to complete the 15 wins and get the medal and the gold/artifact parts/artifact reward.
This is NOT happening in this event. You don't have good GL level or specific OP troops? You are done. Move along. This is not an event for you.
Whether this is a good or bad thing will depend on everyone vision/style of play so it's useless to discuss here, but this is fact and it's no point arguing it. Yeah now everyone can laugh at people disregarding GL at the beginning because it didn't have good reward at each level, but after all that discussion it was kinda assumed this guild was 'optional' and a bonus. However, how 'optional' it is if its locking you out of events? |

I honestly believe that this is worth discussing, but arguing is what it usually ends up as.

The people who disregarded LeG at the start honestly probably don't know this game works. It rewards active people who are willing to put in the time day in and day out.
Examples of that:
- Labourers Guild - Higher wage and defence
- Watchers Guild - Higher number of stat points, people who put in the work early on aren't too far from WG7, that could be 7 more stat points that someone who just ignored it.
- Adventures guild - Difficulty increased as people did more combats. Even with the recent difficulty reduction, it is still harder than it was in the first few days. |

I agree and this is how it should be in any game. The issue I see here is that it's the people who chose not to do it who are being punished. It's not a matter of people getting the rewards they work harder for, but people not being able to complete events when this never happened before. |
| I think the grinch's shadow on lvl 30 is bugged, its parameters are att 18 def 18 with base damage 5-9 and yet it only kept doing 2-6 damage whether it shot or came close to melee no matter to which creature it hit. Even after I kept lowering its stats with infected zombies it still kept doing the same damage as before of 2-6. |

if you didn't belittle those who couldn't do auto missions with weak units "day in and day out."
let me play the prof ( since Im a univercity drop out, this is the only place I can)
as this LeG ( or GL, or whatever, as a server we dont even have a consensus on what to call it) progress, the pressure of performing well in its events will have an unforseen side effect.. top clans will be forced to keep high LeG lvl players and let go low ones (unless they are essential for some other reason like clan wars) . I feel both .com clans management dont care about it at the moment but future can be different.
lvl 30 was easy for me too, since I have decent troop options (thanks to many heavy enhance defenses, high AP ambushes and a top clan's rewards in past 2 events) But Im lazy about LeG too, just doing 4 x 1 each day. Im sure I will be in trouble at 31+ probably wont be able to pass 40. whose fault is that ? decision was mine, haven't tried 1.5 point tough fights, Im way behind some monsters like Jitulek ( he is already LeG 6)
some posts in this thread feels quite immature. just like kids who havent study for an exam and failed simply because they were unprepared. of course blaming those who succeed is easier than actually try to be good.
Also should admit, those do well sorta makes others feel bad with their announcements. but wasnt it always the case in other events ? i.e. Ive seen soo many posts how good everybody performs in pirate events, their cargo/silver numbers etc while my numbers were pathetic. never questioned their success cause I feel/accepted they have earned it ;)
moral of the story : although at first I find this new guild VERY stupid, now it looks -sadly- as important as any other guild ;) |
Low LeG/GL level? Just try your best.
Failed? Can’t proceed? Just give up and find something else to do, try again next time.
We can’t do every event perfectly right?
One thing I disagreed with is some players they don’t disregard the new guild, they are just returned players like me and totally no idea with what’s going on :) |
