Author | HP - an important feature on low levels? (poll) |
Here is fractions total HP statistics, based on maximal possible army, available on 1st and 2nd levels:
Knights:
1st level - 5*4 (Farmers) + 20*7 (Bowmen) = 160 total
2nd level - 10*4 (Farmers)+ 21*7 (Bowmen) = 187 total
Dark Elves:
1st level - 5*10 (Bandits) + 7*16 (Rogues) = 162 total
2nd level - 4*10 (Bandits) + 9*16 (Rogues) = 184 total
Elves:
1st level - 5*5 (Faeries) + 14*12 (F. Keepers) = 193 total
2nd level - 8*5 (Faeries) + 17*12 (F. Keepers) = 244 total
Barbarians:

Does this HP statistics have an important meaning? Are high-HP fractions stronger in combat on first two levels? What do you think? |
Does this HP statistics have an important meaning? not so important, I think..
demoons have less hp than wisards or necromancers, but can easily defeat them..
the main thing - the good strategy |
The current top 100 give us some very interesting information to think about... There are only 6 knights and 5 necromancers there at the moment, and both these fractions have the least percentage among the total registered players. And - what directly connects this statistics to our topic - while the Knights are on one HP end, the Necros are on another! And yet not much initial success for them. |
TOP shows, that elven bowmen & orks are powerfull) |
1.
Don't forget about gating and raising dead.
Necros havea bonus 120 to HP and Deamons - around 20%.
Yes, on low levels HP means much, especially for Knight. The only opponent who is possible to defeat is Dark Elf because of approximately the same HP amount. Other fractions have a bunch of tough units who block archers fast. |

The post above concerns only duels. In group battles Knights are closer to other factions.
And it's quite easy to get lvl 3 with any faction. Knight gets tough and missile-protected Swordsmen, which levels situation. |
The HP aren't really important here, it's the damage and abilities of the creatures which matters the most. 3rd level elf is low on total HP, but it's very difficult to counter with most of the factions. Same story with 3rd level Barbarian. Going on a duel against certain enemies is a suicide, no matter how "healthy" your army may seem. |

excuse me. But dark elf is not the easiest fraction to defeat. The barbarians are easier target |

Have you played as Knight against Barb on first level? |

I defeated a Knight in duel. Barbs at lvl 1-2 are bad because of only large unit in the game at that point, but perform still better, than Knights... |
Yes
I only defeated barbs on rus server cause they were weak |
The main problem of barbarians at level 1-2, as I see it now myself, is their large unit (wolf riders). If is awful in group battles, except battles for oneself, where you have more space to place your units and less hexes to travel. Nearly impossible to compete against these multiple stacks of 1 unit, that block the way. Against Knight it's slightly easier, because peasants have low HP. And how will you take down bandits or gargoyles with your hero? |
I'm 3 lvl knight. First 3 lvls were easy, but now elfs and barbarians and mages are very strong opponents |
IMHO, there are other more important features:
1. Long ranged units, their ini and attack
2. Speed, ini and attack of closecombat units
Total HP - just the third place. |
14.
Wizards are easy to defeat for Knight on lvl 3. Just don't split your swordsmen and make them raged :) |
damage ?
ini? |
