i wonder anyone suggest this before?
beside the rock and stone on the battlefield can use for some tatic, i suggest high ground and lower ground can be intro too.
range unit at higher ground get range n dmg bonus. range unit attack from lower ground will reduce dmg? |

sounds like fun but i was actually thinking of something more of if you get a moral bonus based on the land type(even though this will never happen due to balance issues) but still it's a good idea |
and standing behind rocks can lower range damage (if they have to fire behind it) |
Well, in HoMM we have Cloverfields, Cursed Grounds and several other terrain-types which gives bonuses and negative effects.
I wouldn't mind seeing something that didn't completely unbalance the battle for one side. (Say for example Cursed Ground if you're a Wizard)
A Cursed Ground which only gave -1 to Spellpower could be fun, but "Prevents Spellcasting" would be devastating.
Cloverfield (+1 Luck (for all)) would be fun.
Cementary (-1 Morale to all but Necros).
Blessed Terrain (+1 Morale to all but Necros).
Nexus-point (+1 Spellpower).
...Well, there are alot of things that could be added really. They all sound rather fun to me. Just up to folks to decide if they like it. |
