Here are some ideas of improvement. I'm not gonna demand it gets changed, just a from another Game Designer's perspective.

1) The +3 hour racial ability for all races is really a bad idea. I don't see how it could improve any aspect of the gameplay. The only thing it does is that, people who doesn't have the effect tend avoids those who have, and people who have gets avoided. It defeats the purpose of giving more gameplay variety. In fact, there's no significant benefit fighting against a player who has the +3 hour effect.

2) Okay I'm not gonna bang too hard on this point. Just a consideration .Consider revamping durability issues of weapon entirely. Having durability on items causes many player to be too stingy on using their weapons. It draws a big line between player who's fully equipped and 'nude' players. Equipped players will generally want to fight non-equipped player while non-equipped players will want to avoid equipped players like a plague. It's a little big like the point on top. I suggest a way to do this is allowing repair of items to be done much earlier . Maybe lvl 2. At a much lower costs. Otherwise , gold costs PER battle with items equipped are very expensive even at lvl 3-4. This has generally created a scenario where players have to WORK VERY HARD to maintain their weapon. There is a very thin line of players who "GATHER" gold and "LABOR" for gold. When players starts to get boring digging for gold, it becomes LABOR. Currently, it looks more like LABOR than Gather.

Just my 2 cents for the developer.

1) Well, only barbs has +3 attack per hour, other races have other bonuces. And it's not the racial ability, but special building.
Also, it has been cancelled on RU which means that it's quite possible will be cancelled here.
2) Minus. But I need to think a bit to explain why.
_Valeria_: not +3 by hour, but '+ each 3 hour'. I agree that it should be on all time or off forever.
2. I fully agree - and I wrote about it in another topic. But there is a lot of Russians with a lot of experience, which are afraid any changes, because now they are masters due to that experience and after changes they'll must to learn new tactic. They attack any, even smart suggestions.

However, as a developer, a developer must THINK , are they going to create a situation where players OWN the direction of the game? THere is a huge misconception in the world that gamers actually lead the direction of the game. Which is actually a myth. A good game developer knows how to trick its player to accept the changes. However, i must say, there will be certain hardcore fanboys who'll retaliate hard on any changes. I've been studying several MMOs at this time, plus interviewing several players from popular MMOs, one of the factor that leads to the longetivity of a game is usually CHANGES. Fanboys will come and go . But loyal players are those that attracted to the STYLE and DIRECTION of the developer rather than a certain CURRENT feature the game has. When asked to several players of other MMO, I find out that server RESETTING is actually one of the high-factor of contributing to the logetivity of the game, when asked for some players opinion, a lot of them responded saying it's because every server resets gives you a "CHANGE IN GAMEPLAY", therefore solidifying the point I was explaining. Changes is one of the big factor in a longetivity of an MMO.

I do believe if the Designers of HeroesWM can come up with already so much uniquesness in this game, the durability issue can be solved if they want to. Perhapps. I would even suggest a server reset every 3-4 months with changes into it. Make it a competitive decision-based game rather than a COLLECTIVE experiene game.

Once again. just my 2 cents
This is a bad idea. This game isnt about competing. its more of a community. being level 10 takes up more than half a year of crazy playing. how can we achieve that if game resets so often?
There are reset games - I play them for a bit, but go for games where my character is mine, not to be messed about with at the contrary whim of someone I do not know. I am not Russian ;)

I am not happy with any durability issue for which there is no 'care of weapons' utility available. I do not see it as credible that my weapon gets damaged irreparable in every battle, and that there are no people around with the skill to repair my weapon if required. I buy weapons from shops. The shops have smiths. The smiths are known to everyone. The shops and the smiths sell honing stones, oils etc for the care of weapons. The cost of replacing these is in no way equivalent to the cost of a weapon unless they are rare and expensive = not fo ruse on a cheap weapon. So this is merely a not entirely satisfactory game device.

However I see this version as a 'trial version' of this game - so I expect to see room for improvements
