I was trying explain you meaning "broken arrow".
You should move close to opponents, but keep still out of full shot range, and atack in next turn.

When I saw that you don't atack druids, I was scared, and angry.
This battle was to win (I think).
When you fight agains elfs there is only 1 choice: kill, block bowmen and druids before second tour.
In battle like this first bowmen shot bowmen, and this is only our one chance: jump to enemies as quick as possible.
