AuthorDE and big monsters
Its just me or single big monster in merc quest are almost unbeatable??

Ive tried many times but seems that the lack of ranged units its to penalizing when going toward such monster, and liz charge cannot be really used properly. Rogues dies to fast and minos have low ini (monster have almost always high ini) so how DE can beat those??

It is true that until now i have never been against a ranged monster (that are easier in melee) but.....hey its not possibile that DE cannot win over melee monsters......


Why our magic cant do 200+ damage vs neutrals as magi heroes does???? that would help alot (and still to understand why magi can do that....)
simply choose only monsters against you can win. we knight cant even use offensive magic and griffins are the only creatures with more than 10 ini, but still melee monsters can be beated http://www.heroeswm.com/warlog.php?warid=469016702

You did the right thing with the wrong intention.
I have seen that swordsmen are uber, thats pretty much what ive seen, theyre little walls and being so many they deal out alot of damage too, thats why in group battle are usually avoided or taken down with many units all togheter.
As DE i dont have a wall like that, minos can go close but they dont deal so much damage, and griffs are generally better than lizs cavalry.
But i do have noticed a hint to use against big and stupid monster.... Thank you :)
