Idea 1: Choosing the ammount of time to work for. Right now, I have to type the CAPTCHA (the numbers and letters, its what its name is) once every hour to keep working. My idea is to designate an ammount of time to work, between 1 hour and any number of hours. The downside to be longtime working would be that you wouldn't collect your money till the end of your shift. That way people who need to leave for a day or two wouldn't miss out.
Idea 2: Faster army regen for paid players. Instead of just getting diamonds, you could have a one time payment of 15 dollars (or similar Euro cost), and benefits would be: A full army recharge would only take 5 minutes. Work would give 10% more gold. etc. Similar things of that nature. That gives people more reason to support the game with money. | Idea 3: Recurring income. For example: For 2000 gold (prices are just an example, probably going to be changed) you can buy a small plot of land. We will call this "plains". You buy a plot of plains. You now get 100 gold, every hour, without doing anything. You just have to go to a page and collect it. If you forget it for a day, it doesn't matter. Each hours salary is added to the next. And, to take it even further, you can build structures on the land, for a greater cost. Let's say you decide to build "Residences" on your "plains". The citizens (NPCs, not people) pay a rent of (still an example price) 500 gold. It would even out, because the residences would be something like 25000 gold or something. So it would take a few days for it to pay for itself. | good ideas but they are verypowerfull like idea 1 the gold must be redused for each hour like one hour 170 gold 2 hours 170 gold - 10% =153 the third hour 170gold - 15% =145.
idea 2 isn`t a big deal becouse you will spend real money for 10 munits or the admn can make a Potions that will restore 50% or 25% of your armey.
idea 3 is very good | Thanks. I got the idea from the MySpace app "Mafia Wars". But I see what your saying with the reduced, but it should eventually stop decreasing. Because after 18 hours, you would be getting no money at all, and still working. It should stop decreasing at 50% I think. It sounds like a decent price. If your going to be away for that long, I wouldn't really care how much money I was making, as long as I was making money, and not wasting the time doing nothing. As for Idea 2, more people would pay the one-time payment than repeatedly buying Diamonds. In a different game I play, the ratio of people who paid the one-time to the people who have bought expendable items is over 200:1. In a different game, where there is no expendable currency, the ratio of paid to free players is 5:7. That's pretty decent, considering its a 15 dollar paid membership, and most people don't want to pay to play. | no i`m saying that the players can`t work more than 5 hours and will reduse 25% | Idea 1 is good, as it stops active people flying ahead of others, as they can only fight so many times an hour.
Idea 2 is nice, as long as it restores mana quicker too, and the 10% extra pay is nice.
Idea 3 is also good, but it would have to be a lot more expensive(an example I know, but still very unrealistic), you could get it back in a day. Maybe make the amount of gold you get back smaller, and it would pay itself back in a few weeks. Possibly you could have only one piece of land, and there is a certain amount of land, everyone has an option to buy one plot of land(at some level or other, or possibly bought with diamonds...), but you could buy more than one plot off other people. This way the price would fly up, and it would eventually result in a huge market. Though it could of course lead to feeding :S. | 1. Agree, but if don't give for that Laborers' guild points :)
2. Disagree with Work would give 10% more gold, because it NOT a reason to support the game with money, because they will support less, if they will get more gold.
3. Better wait, when admins will sell the facilities. | @Solmyr: Why would it be not a reason to support the game? You need to pay to get the extra gold. Very few people buy diamonds on this game... Diamonds probably bring enough money to buy the staff a soda every few days. They have very little appeal to most people, whereas the one-time payment effects would be very nice and a good reason to pay.
@Abdullah: The reason for this is so that people who play 24/7 can't fly ahead of casual players. This could perhaps be a paid member only thing as well.
@Killer: It would give decreasing labor points just like the amount of gold. Like, the first 3 hours give full points, then 10% less, then the next one is 10% less, and downward to 50%. Then you would get a point every 2 hours, until the work ended and you collected the gold. That way, you are getting points just lower than what you would for being active. And if you were active, you could just do it every 3 hours. It would be mmore convienient to do it every 3 hours instead of every hour.

Active player = potentially paid member. Casual player easily can leave the game and he's not paid member in most cases. ;) Who do you think administration will support? |
