AuthorA way to ignore people in battlechat is needed
Sometimes, casual observers in a battle will blather endlessly about god-knows-what, often in foreign languages (i.e., not English). Not only is this annoying, it is distracting to the players who are actually engaged in battle. Being able to see how many points of damage you are doing, whether the last unit waited or defended... these things may be important for tactical players like myself.

I thought of this after randomly picking a tournament battle to watch. After seeing the number of observers filling the chat pane, I thought to myself, "That would really suck if they did that to me, while I was trying to fight. It would be nice if there was a way to ignore them." Some chat systems have simple commands you can use, like /ignore. I hope the admin here can think of a way to accomplish this.

Thanks.

I'd go further, there should be options for all battle screens to have that "log" part of the screen show:
- moves/attacks
- players chat
- observers chat
Each of these could be enabled or disabled to suit anyone's preferences.

Additionally, there should be another option so that what you say can be read by:
- observers
- opponents
- team members
- guild members
Each of these could be enabled or disabled to suit anyone's preferences.
I say this is a very good idea.
yep, that's good, just like playing warcraft 3 :D

also i think we need a scroll bar in the chatting field of the battle page...

i always missed the words from my teammates during the battles
