Author | Knight talent - Concentration |
The spell to retaliate every time(I know other factions can use it, but I'm not sure about points) for knights, costs 60 skill points, which you can't get even at level 12. Is the talent points going to be raised per level or something? |
There's also other, seething anger for wizards is another example. |
actually you can get it by lvl 8...
lvl 5 -> 10 tp
lvl 6 -> 15 tp
lvl 7 -> 20 tp
lvl 8 -> 25 tp
total -> 70 tp |
wow i wish melodia, they don't add up |
swt...i tot they add up lol...sorry... |
Barbarians will have it by lvl 10. Do I smell overpoweredness? =) |
it takes 46 for a knight to get that |
try 66 skill points for necros :), so by level 15. It is so close I can feel it...

It takes 60 skill points for a knight to get concentration, math is tricky I know |
yep at combat level 15 you should have enough points to get concentration...Hmmm this seem a bit time consuming to go through all that trouble just to get one talent lol... |
ah didn't see you need expert defence for it... |
It is actually a very good talent! Can you imagine how scary vampires would be if they had unlimited retaliations... and could retaliate even against stacks who have no retaliation.
So barbarians can get this at level 10, scary thought |
even better for grifs, will retal before the enemy even hits! |
I think the wording for the talent might not be very good, but if it has been copied over from HOMM5 as most everything is. Regular stacks only get 1 retal, but the retaliation occurs before the attack, and only when the stack used defend before so you can either ignore the stack or use a weak stack to soak retal before attacking with your strong ones.
In case of griffins/golems (creatures with unlimited retal) the first attack is retaliated twice once before attack and once after, every other attack is retaliated as regular without talent. Once again using a weak stack to soak up the double retal. |
good point 13. As long as you use a dummy to soak up retal, it really dosn't matter if it's before or after the strike. but on all the other ocasions where you can't, it's pretty damn good =) you did get me thinking though =P |
talent points aren't additive. |
