I saw when you're connected, if you're not on the battles page, it doesn't refresh at all. So, if you've got private messages (someone who wants to invite you for a hunt, for example), you can't know it.
It's sad people who send you this message must wait sometimes a very long time to have your response.
If you can hear a bip every time you got a new pm (like the one you can choose when it's your turn in battle), even if you're not exactly on your screen, you could go read this message immediatly.
