AuthorRandom initiative in team battle
I have barbarian and elf, and when join many team battles, i disagree with random initiative.
In many case, team with earlier turn on their range units, have more chance to win. So we need rules so both team (especially with range units) get fair turn.
If 1 = team 1 get turn, and 2 = team 2 get turn,
we can do this 1-2-2-1-2-1 or 2-1-1-2-1-2.
I think it's more fair to both team, and any team have 50-50 chance to win.
If chance to win will be 50/50 what the reason to play and think? Play roulette.
Random - is the one chance to win weak team against strong one. In your idea strong team will very often win against weak (if experience of players will be equal)
Strong against weak?
What game do you play? level 3 against level 5?
elves vs demons for example...
I mean, it's especially for range units ( but it can happen on melee units too ).
Imagine it, in 3-3 battle of 6 "level 4 elves", it's easy to say, team with better turn on elven bowmen can win so easy.
Do you understand what i mean?
the way it is now is fine and the same units... of course it will e random and u probably have 2 wear arts 2 get the advantage
random initiative is only a starting factor, game take a bit longer then 1 turn
#7 of course, but 1 turn can change all game.
It's better if u try some faction with range units and feel what i feel.
i agree with you barjibarbeh,

many battles i lost becuz only all enemy stacks move first :(

Of course larrr they win, becuz their bowmen/archer/druid/magi move first and toasted all my team range unit.

And Vice Versa,
i can win many battles so easily just becuz all my druid/bowmen move first.

Maybe the random idea is good, but still need some fix,
cuz many battle do not give random at all.
