Cerberi/Wolfhounds

I don't know about you, but I think wolfhounds are completely useless. Let's look at some facts. I usually like my demons, so I get maxed demons, some imps, and the rest wolfhounds. I get about 11 wolfhounds. A dark who prefers rogues can get 10 minotaurs easy. Now, do you want +1 to minimal, +2 to maximal damage and + 16 hp, or do you want +2 speed. I don't know about you, but I think it's pretty clear wolfhounds are under-powered. Now this little underpowered, but look at ceberi, they have the SAME HP! This seems totally insane from my point on view, when other tier three upgrades like gaurdians get +10 hp. The same arguement can be made for incenderies, which also get no hp boost. I'm think that cerberi should have 20 hp, and incenderies 15 hp. To make the demon troops so breakable doesn't give them a chance, because enemy ranged untis can mow them down easily, before they can gate and get into combat.

Any ideas?
i guess i sympathise with you... since i play demon as well

Several things id like to point about about ur argument:
1. Rouges are pretty overpowered, period. That's why even at level 3 you can only get about 14 of them.
2. For the record, unless you're fighting elf/dark elf, i think wolfhounds move faster than all other ranged units. That meant they only get 1-2 shot before you can get your teeth into them

I find wolfhounds aren't so useless. I can easily wipe off the majority of weaker unit stacks (farmers, skeletons,goblins, etc...) in like 1-2 rounds. That usually leaves me with plenty to hurt people with, even with archer stacks pelting them. And besides, them standing around and being brought down by people = time for demons to get closer. In short, they make good shock troops. Gotta admit though, just from looking at numbers the upgrades do seem a little on the low side for the cerberi. Dont forget though, spray gives it an even greater advantage over lower tier units. And no retal = damage minimisation anyway.

If its a group combat, then get ur allies to pester the oponents (fast units/rangers) while you move in. Unless ur opponents hate you(or have suffered a humilitaing defeat from being one player up to being thrashed by a group of demons) they'll go for ur allies.

And i'm sorry, there's not much anyone can do about a 1v1 against dark elf. Just dont play them until u get succubi.

But demons have the ability to gate if you cate 2 8 wolfhounds then if htere is more hp the opponent is dead then lvl3 everyone wud become demon

demons are ok at the moment. no changes needed!!

i always went with max wolf. it worked out with me.

if u see most of the bows have 10 ini. demons gate in their first turn. after 1 bow turn over wolfs get 2 turns for their one. so u can break the wall and block them. these bows always have difficulties of getting a second shot.

I'm think that cerberi should have 20 hp, and incenderies 15 hp.

u want to give more hp to ur units coz u want them to survive. but as far as i know they are not meant to survive dat long. when i had my lvl9 demon i never used inicen. i went with spawns and wolf only. their high ini. along with horses high ini. gives u an good chance to attk. only demons are blessed with 3 14+ ini. units in lvl8 and 9. in gbs i always targeted big and powerful units and die. i give to finishing to my partners.it works as we win often like dat. though i get less xp its worth the win.

com'on demons are great. they are quite unbeatable in duels. certainly upto lvl9 :P

Seriously, doggies are fine as they are now. I usually go max Succubi, then max Incendiaries, then max Wolfhounds, 3 Spawns and the rest on horses. Works fine for most purposes although I suppose it would need some tweaking in PvP battles...
other units also dont get thier hp increased
like rogues have the same hp as shrews
shrews are nearly same as cerberi. they both have same speed and no retalliation .
difference is that cerberi has spray and shrew has a little higher initiative.
