I'm really met a lot of assistance like this

They are played for long period and still not understand the basic thing, the reaction of creature for certain moves.
as you can see, any experience players can tell that block the recruits is the most stupid move because we can guess the next action of the recruit, kill the strongest stack near him before he can reach to the bowmen.
And always the assistance will said, I'm tried to block them closer to bowmen.Wtf?!
Is that the correct way to block them?
Use brain,ok?!
You block them as they can't get into bowmen range for maximum damage and they will just attack innocence troops around them!! |
I think it's possible that the Recruits chose to hit the Keepers first either way. Since the 1 single Druid you have in Recruits' range may not be an attractive enough target for them. In many circumstances the shooter-homing AI does not always take priority. |
I guess you do need learn more about reaction of the creatures against elf as a hunter in a hunt.

here the freshness example I got just now.Look at the final there when 59 recruit 100% move to druids instead of others troops around him. |
I think pegasusfui's example was true 95% of the time, however in rare cases the AI can choose not to go for the shooter, but cripple your other most damaging unit, given the chance.

Crossbowmen choose to do 500+ damage to my Keeper while there're still elf bowmen alive.
It's also kinda rude to call Mirz a Noob because just of a single move. He gave up his Rogues' lives for you. :) |
I think are some different between normal hunt and MG. They might try to save themselves(crossbowmen) while something get closer to them.
It's not the 1st time I met such condition, therefor I'm frustrated about it.
I give chance to him as not list him in my blacklist( I'll something they unexpected to them). |
Well...my experience is that sometimes AI will turn on the strongest melee units before your range units are killed.
My golems often get killed when there still have magis beside them. :(

The 300 stack choose golems instead of magi.
Maybe they want some machines to help them work. |
check my thread on AI during hunt. Units rarely go for my bowmen but almost always take out my vampires first. Its more of a 50/50 chance and i believe it might also depend on how strong the remaining neutral forces are.
In this case letting the recruites get within your bowmens range wasnt a smart move. You couldnt even handle the stack that was already on you. |
