We are of different culture. Our languages are different. So i suggest that players getting block due to names should be given a chance to change their name because it is offending to other players. Maybe a chance to change their name the next time they log in would be ideal.
For example,
Tonto is stupid in spanish, but it could also mean a name. Like the companion of the Lone Ranger.
Bobo means stupid in our language, but it is also a name of a clown. | | As I know administration very rarely changes name, possible due to not very easy process of changing nickname of person. For users this feature will be accessible after huge work of developers (I think so). It's not very hard to start new account after blocking previous 1-3 level with bad name. But to developers it's big work to implement such useless function. | | Accounts are only blocked for names whenever it is highly offensive, sexually explicit, or similar such names. Things like 'stupid' aren't going to get blocked. Basically, if you can write the word in a chat or forum room and not get deleted or banned then it is an okay name/word. |
