- Hunt, fight, then hunt again =)
What I mean is, get that faction skill up as fast as you can.
The knight's strenght comes mainly from his numbers.
- Learn to fight with your swordsmen. They are the key unit in your army. Also most of the times you'll be without bowmen or farmers within the first two rounds, so it's better to exclude them from your tactics period. Whatever damage they can produce is a plus.
- Always use volley if you can reach 3 or more targets at once. Volley deals 50% damage on each unit, so it only pays out with 3 or more.
- Always use all the settlement slots. fill them with stacks of either 1 farmer, or divide your bowmen, so you can maximise the rage the swordsmen get.
- Defense is your friend. So is high moral.
About the rest... Well it's a matter of practising. Most of the tactics you know from the other factions apply to knights as well.

remember against elves to split archers 5-4 each stack, against other knights and mass spells keep 1 big stack.
also ur sword has lotsa power, u won't always get the first hit in, but if u do, ur pretty much set.
Also u should put points in attack, because u need to hit a lot to be effective as swords, as thats the stat that is lacking for swordsmen. |

| How do you have problem with elfs? I suggest that you split all your bowman into as much as you can line them up and put the swordsman in front and the farmers if you have. don't shoot the elven bowmans right away. if they have blockers volley them. Shoot off the 1 fks and all that until they only have 1 big stack or several stacks elven bowman and a big stack of fk keep attacking elven bowman with hero and shoot off elven if you still have bowman. once bowman is gone. just stay at the other side attack elven bowman with hero and wait for it to run out of arrows. then finish it off with hero then just keep defending with swordsman the fks should take a huge damage with the retail and the rest you won.. |
