AuthorPunishment and Compensation for AFKers
Here's a few ideas, very rough draft and exemplary, to do with people going AFK in group combat.

1) Team members of an AFKer have their health and mana immediately replenished after the combat, ready for the next combat to make up for the time lost. (Except in the case where they win).

2) AFKers have their luck lowered for the next few (3?) fights, rather than the next 2 hours. Since the player is obviously not operating their computer, a punishment lasting 2 hours is easily dodged.

This will encourage the player to engage in PvE (hunting) combat to shed their bad luck before more PvP, giving the player a chance to learn how to play their class/the game better, aswell as cut down on the possibility of 'rigged' games.

3) (This one is very experimental) Teams in group combat are given a leader, with the ability to remove team-mates in the setup screen and say when they're ready. This will work hand-in-hand with suggestion 2 in that AFKers will have an appropriately difficult time finding a team.
i like number 1 :)
like number 1...number two isn't bad either. I say for three, if the AFKer knows he will have to go afk, he can let oen of his teamates control his troops. That would help immensely, as many times I go afk, I know i will in the middle of the combat, and I say sorry, but really there is nothing I can do about it.
