If the ghosts ability "Incorporeal" disapperas when they have been raised, then the Necro wouldn't be overpowered. Think in RL (even though ghost doesn't exists), When a ghost dies, the undead makes a new living with buried bones. Then, the raised ghost is with bones. Then the incorporeal should disappear. | nope remember they suk at level 5 when some faction's get magic arrow | Yeah , do that . While you're at it , you might as well :
- Get rid of knight's training chambers .
- make Crossbowmen have 4 health , 1-2 dmg and 6 initiative
- send all monks to the monastery , don't send them to fight wars
- get rid of guardians'large shield and shield allies OR put initiative to 3
due to heavy armour , shield and weapons .
- get rid of griffins' unlimited retaliation
Seriously , I don't know why you think necromancers are so overpowered . If you think they are so overpowered , why don't you just join them ? If you don't feel like it , don't duel with them or make sure all of your allies in a 3 VS 3 or free-for-all are demons .
The game is balanced as it is , so there's no need to flood the forum with these kind of 'overpowered this , overpowered that' threads . As a conclusion , I can say that this is a bad idea .
BTW , in real life(even though ghost do not exist) , ghosts can't die . They just fade away . Also , in Real Life , ghosts are practically invincible . They actually have 100% incorporeality . The 50% thing was merely added to balance the game . So , now , stop this flooding of the forum . It's getting annoying . If you were a level 3 or 4 , I would understand because it's still new to them , but a lvl 5 ? I'm sure you should haveat least 1 way of countering ghosts i.e. stepping on them by the time you've gone through 2 levels of battling ghosts .
IMO , if you want it to be monotonously fair , tell the developers to just make 1 faction with 1 talent wheel . That way , everybody's equal and nobody would rant about this 'inequality' in being able to pwn another faction . Every faction will have it's day in certain levels , it's common knowledge .
Bottomline is , stop making 'overpowered' threads or ideas and suggestions threads that hint at the same thing . | I will only say one thing. Level 5 dark elf. Besides that you’re right about ghosts not being much of a problem at level 5+. | lv 5-7 dark elf ghost is not a problem as long as you have your mana and enough spellpower you can kill it immediately after its raised. the only problem is the vampires with high defense and skele archers. | this is a sec tactic 4 LV 3 to kill ghost.Split ur archer into 2.1 is (9) another is (1).To confirm how to attack the ghost keep shooting it with (1) e.g you miss once you can attack 1 once,sec turn(i dont the ghost have reach)if the result is the same,use the heroes to attack it and attack it with keepers.After the next raise use the same tactic,unless both shot is miss.Keeper attack the ghost directly.Make sure that ur allies dont attack the ghost with heroes or(Barbarian only)Orcs unless they got lot of bloodlust. | warning that move is only for elfs | Ghosts arent that much of a problem for me (barbarian).. Depending on how well things go offcourse.. If theres something large creatures are good at, its standing on undead, and Barbarians so happen to start out with Large creatures :)
But i don't think that their incorperal ability should be removed when they are raised.. Then a vampire could as logically lose its life drain since its no longer a vampire (which is a person who dies and not a vampire that dies).. | i have no trouble with necromancers or ghost i use druid magic against them and have easy kills hil the rest focas on vampires and skelatal bowmen | frist for muma we raise ghosts out of dust not of bones and 4 neroes we raise our vamps from their dead body not from another corpses and besides our troops get -20% of our hp so stop babling about overpowered things all factions are balanced | I know, but we where suppose to think from a "real life" perspective :P
But as far as i see it, the game is more or less balanced.. You just need to find your own Tactic for dealing with the various armies there is.. I for one have allot of trouble with Elves.. But i just need to figure out how to beat them :P
I agree that its annoying when a necro raises his stack of undead which ive just spend time beating down so my wolves have something to eat, but thats just part of the game, and i could have prevented him from it...
