This game is very well done. If you translated it into Chinese (which would not be so much work) you would get a lot of Chinese players. HoMM enjoyed some popularity here, online gaming is huge in China, and there is a market for an online game for Chinese players to compete with European players directly.
I'm not sure how many Chinese players would be able to afford Euros. Particularly because most Chinese young people don't have credit cards and online funds services for China are huge rip offs. I recently paid 10 Euros to make a 5 Euro purchase... 50% went to the service charge. 20 Euros would be 400 rmb after the service charge... that is around 1 month's rent in Beijing. Generally it's people making lower wages who are interested in electronic gaming. |

| Most gamers in China don't know English well enough to play this game. The rules, the unit abilities, the menu, etc... need to be translated if you want them to be able to play the game. |
Agree, I think China will be another huge market for the game.
BTW, most players in our clan #136 are Chinese players. If Administration need any help in construction of the Chinese game, we would like to help. :) |
| Well, other than Chinese, Korea's also good! I'm not sure about Japanese but I'm sure that NEARLY HALF of the Korean players don't actually understand English TOO well... |

would do you not try to translate the faq in chinese on a separate website ?
and ask admins to show the link in the "Official announcements" forum ? |
I would think translating it into chinese characters would be awesome. One, I am chinese, and Two there is a huge population of chinese players already, and constantly growing. This will bring a bigger population n populate this game XD
When it comes to chinese characters,
Traditional Chinese = Widely known
Simplified Chinese = Most children known
Preferably it should be translated into both if possible, or if not, traditional as it caters to a higher percentage of chinese people then simplified |
