Why not allow players doing this quest to be ambushed by real players, and if the player ambushed is lower level the "merchants" who they are protecting (always monks) will help. Otherwise they're on their own. And if the mecr quest player fails the ambushing player can return the cargo to the merc guild for a reward or something.
And it should be implemented to be more realistic and add a PvP dimension to merc quests, same as hunts have assistance as a PvP(ish) part. |
