For some gremlins, click attack and the box just disappears. I was sure I clicked attack not passby and so I go to the forum to report it, and I go into battle as normal.

Ya...i also face this problem...sometime like this is a new features. Will lead you with a hunting partner and both of you will hunt two different creatures together.

yes. here is the explanation.
Be careful when u attack hunt creature. After u click attack, they dissappear from your screen n u don't go to the battle screen immediately. after they disappear, stand by for further notice. The enemy will ask for assist, so you might do the fight with other lord (heroes) and your enemy will collaborate with the lord enemy. |
