It would be so, wether the player leasing is online of not, they can set terms for each weapon...and a inventory cateogry for renting. All the arts in that category, or tagged renting, can be rented out by any player on a first come fist serve basis, for a set amount of battles/time, and a set price. So, say you needed a weapon for this group battle, you go to that player and pick up the weapon, and the price will be automatically deducted from you, and you are given the weapon for 1 battle or some amount of time. After the battle it is returned, and any other player can pick it up. There would be a link on the character page to his/her renting page, and each artifact would have a tag if it was available or gone. This would be nice if you just need a weapon for an immediate battle, you can rent without any discussion, and the player doesn't have to be online.
Maybe you have a hard group battle or quest and you want an enchanted sword of might, but you can't enchant it in 2 minutes,and you're too poor anyway. So you can rent it in a matter of seconds.

People are always looking for the most cheapest items, most AP for the least gold. And were possible, they try to scam people
Do you really think that they are going to spend some gold on an artefact just for 1 battle, when there are many other ways to get cheaper arts ?
And even if people are going to use it, how big is the chance they rent an art from you? thats like 0,001%
A better suggestion would be to make a "second market" with lease instead of buying. So people can bid on items like they do now, and rent the cheapest then | 3;
well the point isn't price or big deals, its about convience. the point is so you can grab an air cloak for your druid hunt, or a enchanted sword for your group battle, starting in 5 minutes. If you had to bid on leasing, i don't see why ppl would want them, since you rent for a specific battle, and you have to return it within a set timeframe. | | if you were in a group battle, you wouldnt be allowed to change artifacts | you wouldn't be in it yet, just about to join- but maybe there are three elves, and you want the air cloak for druids, and you don't have it.
THis would let you get it in less than 1 minute, so you could stil join. | if you decide to lease an air cloack
where do you find one?
there are hundreds of players that lease artefacts....how do you know which one has an air cloack? |
