Authormoral and luck
in my games it was VERY often, that i have 3 luck and my opponent has only 1 or 2 luck. but he get it much oftener as i :(

so my idea if i have more luck or moral as my opponent,he cant get it oftener as i.
he can get it so often as i but not more often so far i get next luck
i think its just lucky to get luck ...i dunn think there is any algorithm for it ...its just luck to get it more often than oftener :P
i mean that the player with lover luck or moral CANT get more often as the one with higer luck or moral
having more luck merely increases the chances of it occuring

each point in luck gives a 10% chance for luck to occur

your opponent had more luck occuring because he was lucky i guess
Well, the algorithm is slightly more complex. You can only have luck a certain amount of times in a row depending on how many points you have. I believe with +1 Luck you can get once (or twice, I do not remember) in a row; +2 Luck max is 3 in a row; and at +3 Luck max is 5 in a row. I could be incorrect on the actual numbers... this is based on observation and a description within the game stating that consecutive luck is limited by how much luck you have.
The formulas have been posted- but for 3 luck it's going to be on the order of:

30% of getting it the first turn.
45% of getting it the second turn if you didn't get it the first turn.
60% of getting it the third turn if you didn't get it the first two turns.

etc.

There's also a negative effect if you've had good luck on the immediately previous turn(s).

Keep in mind that luck is per unit, and *per action*. So let's say that you have Luck 4 and your opponent has Luck 2. But you have Ogres (initiative 8) and she has Shrews (initiative 16). You'll actually get luck the same number of times in the battle- as a percentage, the Shrews will get it half as often, but since they move twice as often they get their luck chances twice as often as well.

So when you're playing with very slow units, as you are, luck just doesn't look as effective.
