Well, you sure beat me. I'd get to the Jade Dragon level with over half my gargs left and 60 mana, and couldn't get past it. Never even came close.

so... after i read all written here... elf, DE and knight don't have a chance to pass renegade magicians. at these factions top players will be crowded in few hundred points. difference between players with diamond upgrades and those without is not very big. in my case (wizard) the difference will be at least 10k points. i'm curious to see if a wizard with normal gargs can reach 30k points.

This is my third tournament and I see no point in joining any more. The only way you can have a good chance at being in top 10 is with diamond units. As always, people with money rule. And the irony is that by winning in tournaments the rich get richer.
The only way I'm joining the next tournament is if they forbid the use units from diamond upgrades. |
Avataris, this tournament wasn't beneficial for elves. Even the ones with diamond upgrades.
Aramyl for instance, he came in 3rd without upgrades. Only 400 points after the winner.
This particular tournament also wasn't about money, so the rich didn't get that much richer to be honest. |
| It was interesting tournament, thanks for it. I didn't expect to win without shrews, but I participated anyway. It was a question of honour and interest, what are my skill like. And ... It's just fun, no need to be angry because of money ;) And it was also fun to watch wizzard's fights with mana recovery and necro's with vamp's life recovery ;) |
I agree with Agelage. This tournament wasn't for elves but, in the other hand, for us it was much more interesting and engaging than for the other factions because we all known that only few points could have been the difference between victory or defeat.
Besides, Avataris, consider that even if it's true that the 1st and 2nd have diamond upgrade, only four players in the top10 have them. 1st, 2nd, 8h and 10th.
And about the money, i used a normally level 7 group battle set that i bought with money gathered by working in mines, by hunting and by trying mercenary's quest. Nothing... strange or unusual. |
yeah, i think for elves it's very interesting, knowing we're only separated with few points ( for example, i only separated by 45 points to Aramyl, lol ).
So every attempt was very vital.
if we could achieve 10 points more than the last attempt, it meant a lot :D. |
