| aww common i got to round 14 only once (pure luck) always died at round 11 or 12. I know u got to round 13 without diamonds and prolly have higher score then LEVY. Also Poo got higher score then Sveta without diamond units. Not to mention winning price might just cover cost of arts. think winner gets 30-40k max for this tourny. |
And what? Bad for LEVY and Sveta if they didnt beat records of non-diamont users - they had big advantage, but didn't able to use it with right tactics.
You really think that money is all in this tourney? I dont need it, it was competition, and i lose... just becouse i cant put money in this game =( |
| Then we are different i would join masterminds swarm if he paid more then empire :P XP is also nice but to hit XP cap 50k points is enough everything above is just unnecessary bonus also i didnt buy assailant just for this tourney i had them since lvlup. |
Nevermind... its just my bad thinks, feel bad myself becouse of not equal rights in tournaments. I understand all, admins cant work without pay and diamond up on tournament is another reason to buy diamonds by many players.
Ehh... good that some recrods in hunts can be done without such ups... may be for now. |

| Records is another think i dont understand. Why would some1 waste so many gold for arts and eanchants just to get on TOP hunters list just to be beaten some1 who is rdy to waste even more gold just a week or 2 later. I usualy hunt with min AP even then im barely make any gold from hunts. Not to mention 5500xp cap for hunts is quite low. But thanks for making most of my hunts turning from red to yellow or even green. :) |
Sutech, i tryedother tactics, and you no less than me know that here is some best talent choice. I kalkulated it and chek it allredy. I got good result, i know it, but lizards up is too good on lvl 11 and in this tourney especially.
marked_one, i dont interesting in getting higher lvl, or to be it top about exp. For what? Far more interesting to do something that cant do others. Week or 2 later? There many of my records on lvl 9, 10, 11 at least some months.

IMO diamond unit help win tournament, but they are not nesesery.
Most importent is good positioning units before each wave.
Better is make few pass (wait) at end of wave (move slow units to begin ATB), and you will have first strike. |
| I know, i used it. But 2x88 vamp lizards are much more easy to kill with lizard assailts - strike on every attack is good, very good in this combut. So, if opponents have them, non-diamond users cant win - any tactics, any talents and troops cant give this advantage becouse diamond users are smart too. |
Moon, what is it that u want to tell us? That upgraded units are better than the basic ones and therefore players who payed for them have an advantage? I think we all know that.
But there are many other factors that decide the outcome in this tournament. Especially the 88 Vampliz wave is good example. I had one very good try up to this wave and made no good score at the end simply because I had no luck or morale during this wave. In my last try I did not play with complete full arts and made some mistakes, but had good fortune on the VLs and suddenly I made my best result. |

When i take my liches and death enoyses - i was died very quickly. At last try i've taken only vampires, some apparitions and my 216 skells with 7 faction skill. If you can see - i haven't 256 skells, as have it Pooo. Also i haven't 8 faction skill. So i think that diamonds not effects on results. |
Alyna, i dint tell about other factions - here is competition inside every faction. I looked it on .ru server. Best result there was made by necro, DE has twice less points. But leaders was in every faction.
May be mistress is not so good in this kind of battles, but powerfull stack (liz. assailts), that attack with every other attack near them is very usefull here. My shrews were in 3 stack, and i had 5 morale, this stack can attack 6-10 times in a raw... Before tern of enemyes stack.
Set_Sveta, 8 faction skill is game moment, 256 skellies is game moment, so Poo's result is his good tactic, and may be your misstakes. I cant see battles now to say all correct. On lvl 11 is only 2-3 necros and much more DE's ))
People, i just was angry about advantages for real money in competitons. I know, i cant change anything here and admins did it specially, somebody must to pay for game, so at least, thanks for them, who buy diamonds.

MoonVampire i was looking on .ru how the best DE played there. I expected similar tactics and talents i had just to find out he had complately different talents,unit placement,strategy and even unit numbers.
For example i had only +1 morale on my best try.
Abt assailant its true they help but only if they are next to another stack which means they must atack ur assailants or u atack them with assailant which makes ur shrews vulnerable to attack since they were protecting my shrews in later rounds. |
Its not hard to combine wait\defence to get best attack power on each new wave. I did it.
I saw battles of DE on ru too. Eap, different tactics. But winners there had this up too.
About morale, i calculated terns and chanses, and i use it.

| Im looking forward to c ur best try. :) This kind of planing i cant quite imagine coz 1 morale on enemy can screw up ur plans. Whatever happens i try to adapt for example been only once in round 13 and survived it. :) |

marked_one, again, having 5 morale almost prevent all happens and give me some statistic. I learned to use it.
By the way... Answer on one question, do you can past throw 13 wave without diamond up? I want to know it =)

Kiaune u forgot 38400/7 for top 10% second prize which is almost 5k more gold :P
which makes it 18,5k total... Wonder how much mastermind would pay =)
I watched ur replay u had 4 morale but ur strategy was alot different from mine but i think its possible to beat wawe 13 without diamonds too bad Sutech didnt lvlup during tourney to show ya how =) |
