Hi friends i think this will rock!
Ok here is my idea ,taken from the recent topic "Pause" of Benny.
This would mean that now in a PvP , (EFO) Player A,B,C, and D are there.now player A has to go afk ,but if he does he will get bad name and -2 luk. but using this , they would be able to freeze their character and army i.e. their units would be defending when their chance or turn comes.this would be displayed to all the others in the fight, and also they wont flee the battle.

i like it.. | | this is a good idea - also, the units would not have wait through the entire counter. :) | hum.. and what about abusers, that would just "look" afk, so other players slay each other, and then *poof* they come back, kill everything that remains and get experience..?
On the other side, if the counter is a one-time click (meaning that once it is done, it cannot be reversed), it would be more useful to put a "resign" button. Troops die, hero leaves, but no penality.
Also because, often, AFK are people that either didn't realize the combat already started (so they won't click the button) or have connection problems (so won't be able to click it) or plainly leave because suddenly they have other things to do (this happens often when people are loosing.. wonder why ^^), and again, because of their actual behavour, i doubt they would kindly press the button.
All in all, the only reason a player would need this button, is when he/she has an urgency that will only last a minute or two. But in this case, leaving the units to wait, will loose less turns for him (thus giving a bigger chance to find some troops once he/she comes back :) )
