Author | damage referance in batle |
like in HOm&m it will tell u if it will retaliate and how many perishes will happen i think that should be on this game |
suggested multiple times :)
read local rules |
Since there are so many factors i doubt it is usefull
because BEFORE you attack, it is NEVER going to say if you get luck or favoured enemy
and if you do 2-8 damage, it is NOT going to say which one
So you ll get an answer like, between 500 and 2000 damage
Do you think that info is usefull? |

Haha yes I think it's very useful. Only the crossbowmen's damage is so unpredictable, so most of the time it will give a good gauge on how much damage you will do. You don't DEPEND on luck or favoured enemy do you? If it befalls you then all the better. The damage range is still a good indicator on the least amount of damage you'll expect to inflict. And knowing how many in the stack you can expect to perish is certainly useful.
It's precisely because of the many factors that makes it useful. Imagine if you were to calculate the damage yourself, you'll have to factor in the difference in attack and defense, faction resistance, enchantments and resistances, jousting, talents... nah I prefer the calculations to be done automatically. :D |
yes like if u were lvl 4 wolfhound (14) with 5 attack and a forestk (14) with 5 defense it would tell u like u will do 97 damage which will be 8 persih |
thanx Skuwak |

You already have the formule, you know all stats of all monsters.
If you want it without luck and favoured enemy, then just use your brains
Or if that is too difficult, take a calculator...
I mean...you played over 2700 combats, and you still dont know the strenght of your units O_o ? |
Or if that is too difficult, take a calculator...
And go through the tedious process of keying in all those figures? That's why I said I prefer the calculations to be done automatically.
I may know the strength of my units, but the defense of my enemy isn't static. So the damage output isn't always the same. Plus, the other factors that I mentioned earlier makes the final damage output even more unpredictable. Oh add the active spell effects as well (curse, weakness, etc). So nope, I don't always know the strength of my units. And definitely not in the instances when I had just changed faction or gained a level. |
