Fighting a battle with my DE against a moster, i began to wonder about the earthen spikes spell.
Why, when applied to a creature that occupy 4 tiles, wouldn't it inflict damage for each tile that it is applied upon? after all, if a spike inflict 8 damage, 2 should inflict 16, 3 24, and so on..
It wouldn't even be a matter of creating a spell too powerful, since earthen spikes is always quite weak (even for wizard hunters, who get a lower bonus indeed because of the repartition of the spell).
So, doesn't anybody else think that it would make sense to modify this spell for a better effect when used against large creatures? | but some factions have large creatures at a very low level (i.e barb) with very low health (i.e wolf riders) and that would be very unbalancing in a fight between some factions (i.e DE vs barb)... so it would be quite unbalancing IMO...
barbs would hate it, DE would love it, just some points of view, my 2 cents some people may see things differently that's all. considering the aspects of other factions involved |
