First time I tried chatting during a hunt te answers were hilarious. But here is something that makes too much sense. Are you sure this is not a player responding?

All mob's replics some time ago was said by players. With small chance you can talk with monsters and it will be funny dialog.
Most funny for me was replic of zombies, when i tryed to set record on them. It was 5 or 6 attempt and they said: "ZOMG, you again!!" =)
On ru server players even did some events with prices for the best dialog with monsters =) |

and no, I think the responses are linked to actual responses, so the computer tracks a player saying "ready?" and another player responds "i'm ready", the computer sends out "i'm ready" via neutrals after a player types "ready?"
