Computer Control

AuthorComputer Control
Problem: Real life intervenes.
Sometimes you start a combat and something happens. For us older people, baby starts crying, wife/husband starts whinging, incontinence (for the really old), etc. For the younger, mum says "Turn of that computer", etc.

Solution: Instead of really annoying the other person involved, with them just having to wait for the countdown for each of your units, my suggestion is you have an option to computer control your units.
Hmm. I did some more searching, and there's lots of AFK posts, etc. Wasn't looking for the right keywords. Sorry for the noob quality of this.

I guess this is subtly different, in that it has the player giving up control to the computer voluntarily, while most other suggestions are the computer being given control after a certain amount of nil action, and look at punitive measure as they assume most AFK is with sinister motives, not just RL intervening.
great idea

yeh that would be good but also it would make it so cheaters are less likeley to be spotted say a cheater created a battle then he surrender the control of one account to the ai (and since the a is stupid) he'll get same amount of exp as he would by actually beating it
I would like it if you could "give" your troops to another player because the computer in hunts is suicidal and it would be very difficult to creat a program that would not lead to you loosing every time against other players. there should be alimit on the number of tuimes you could do this each day or something because otherwise it could be abused quite easily.
Well my suggestion is not to start a battle if you know something will happen

just my opinion
already been suggested
which 6 or 7?
@Crypter20. Did you read what I wrote? If so, please reread it and understand what it said. There are some people who can not necessarily have hours uninterrupted on a computer. There are some people who think they can get the time, and then events out of their control occur.

For example, I thought I'd sorted out the time to do one of the tournaments.
My 19 month old daughter threw up in her cot and I had to deal with that{the start of a virus, which I didn't need to go to the emergency department, but it was a close call}. Lucky it was the tournament, so all I did was waste 1 attempt. If it was a duel or a combined hunt, some poor guy would be waiting ages to finish the battle as every single turn of mine I'd time out.
