Difficulty of caravans in TG

There is a certain number of caravan types in this game. Whenever you win against one, it will become around 7% stronger next time you run into that specific type of caravan. But when you lose it gets 5% weaker. This makes it possible to fight them endlessly unlike hunts or mercenary quests, that don't get any easier - ever.

However, in my experience fighting AI in TG is imbalanced most of the time. Sometimes when you win easily against some caravan, and it becomes 7% stronger next time, it pawns (this is most obvious with elven and DE caravans).

My suggestion is that this 7%stronger/5%weaker become 1%stronger/1%weaker. It would make battles much more interesting, 'cause at one point, caravans will be slightly stronger or weaker than your max capability, and never such imbalance where you just can't do anything else but watch them as they finish you, before the battle actually starts.
The catch is if you have a really easy caravan it will take ages till it reaches a challenging level and vice versa if you face an impossible caravan it takes ages till it is doable.

yes, you're right.. it is a catch.

but i think it is a small price to pay. anyway, i am sure this could be overcome in some ways. but really, i think that we would enjoy TG much more if we fight balanced AI.

did i say i want it to be easy? nope :)

.. just more balanced. this is a game, and why shouldn't it be more interesting game? that's all.
so.. no one really cares.. :D
