I think we have too much time to do turns in PvP games and it should be reduced. Why do I think this?
I have had a run of thief missions ending with 2 opponents. I incorrectly thought that in one of them, my opponents had deliberately rigged the combined combat by leaving at the same time.
Due to this incorrect assumption, and the fact I was annoyed, I decided to slow play, hoping 1 of them might have to go AFK, giving me a minute chance of victory, and even if they didn't, it would teach them for not playing in the spirit of the game.
By slow play, I mean waiting until the last few seconds for every move, and making sure you have 7 stacks, so you can waste as much time as possible. A tactic as reprehensible as deliberately engineering combined thief missions, and one I wont do again, as it's just not worth stooping to other peoples level, not to mention the risk that your assumption may be wrong.
Others may use the tactic. Also, if someone goes AFK, it can be 15 minutes of tedium until that 5th stack doesn't act and the combat is over. If you can't make a decision on what to do in 1 minute, then the extra time probably wont help. |
