Character Angel_Girl ( https://www.lordswm.com/pl_info.php?id=4609823 ) is the treasurer for Clan # 496 (also the "Wife" of _Bason_).
Angel_Girl receives many "donations" from the Character -shaman- ( https://www.lordswm.com/pl_info.php?id=4611797 ). Angel_Girl then deposits all her money into the Clan account to be withdrawn by _Bason_. IMO opinion this is being done so that _Bason_ can try to deny being part of a multi-ring while receiving all of the benefits.
The interesting thing is that -shaman- and Angel-Girl are the start of a large multi-ring, feeding money directly to the Clan # 496 account and then immediately withdrawn by -Bason- (see Clan Log for # 496, https://www.lordswm.com/clan_log.php?id=7496 ). Just look at the timing of the deposits and withdrawals. I really don't think anyone could deny the deposits and withdrawals are consistently too close together to be mere coincidence (generally within a minute of the deposit by Angel-Girl).
-shaman- receives money from Characters Basion ( https://www.lordswm.com/pl_transfers.php?id=4645878 ), -Basion2- (https://www.lordswm.com/pl_transfers.php?id=4649086 ), -SHINZO2- ( https://www.lordswm.com/pl_info.php?id=4611799 ) and LenTao ( https://www.lordswm.com/pl_transfers.php?id=4651562 ) before "Donating" all his money to the Clan via Angel_Girl. Interestingly -shaman- is no longer a member of Clan # 496, yet still sends money to Angel-Girl..
LenTao also used to "Donate" to the clan via Angel-Girl. Then he started sending his money to -shaman-. Then LenTao was evicted from Clan # 496. Since being evicted he now sends his money to Basion who then sends all his money to -shaman- -> Angel-Girl -> Clan # 496 -> _Bason_.
IMO LenTao and -shaman- were only evicted from the clan in an attempt to sever any obvious connections between those characters and _Bason_. The money transfers continue through alternate characters to limit links to .
Basion also receives money from _Shinzo2_ ( https://www.lordswm.com/pl_transfers.php?id=4609501&page=0 ) as well as -Basion2- and LenTao, before passing it on to -shaman-.
-SHINZO2- has also made loans to _Bason_ in the past, as well as anyar ( https://www.lordswm.com/pl_info.php?id=4515234 more on him later). Also has received items from Nekro_Keita ( https://www.lordswm.com/pl_transfers.php?id=4583699&page=2 ) which are then sold on the market. Nekro_Keita has also given items and loans to _Shinzo2_ and -shaman-. Nekro_Keita seems to have been withdrawn from active service due to a "multiple character management" penalty.
In fact there also seems to be a whole previous network of similar characters doing the same thing with Clan # 361 ( https://www.lordswm.com/clan_log.php?id=7361 ). Looking at the log and membership of the clan reveals a number of characters with names similar to those I have already mentioned. AngelGirl ( https://www.lordswm.com/pl_transfers.php?id=4488899 ), Basion2 ( https://www.lordswm.com/pl_transfers.php?id=4465116 ), _Shaman_ ( https://www.lordswm.com/pl_transfers.php?id=4596351 ), and The_Shinzo2 ( https://www.lordswm.com/pl_transfers.php?id=4586847 ). Also aryanr.
There are also numerous characters providing "Loans" to _Bason_, such as Flexxxy ( https://www.lordswm.com/pl_transfers.php?id=4628755&page=0 ), demonic_angel ( https://www.lordswm.com/pl_transfers.php?id=4556419 ), degla ( https://www.lordswm.com/pl_transfers.php?id=4582695&page=0 ), and bob3 ( https://www.lordswm.com/pl_transfers.php?id=4609885&page=0 ). In most cases these characters have interactions with other characters in this entire multi-ring. It is likely they are also involved in the multi-ring but aren't as obviously providing direct benefit. It may be that these characters are "backups" just in case the main multi-ring members are blocked.
Finally we come to aryanr ( https://www.lordswm.com/pl_transfers.php?id=4515234&page=0 ). This character seems to be undertaking banking activities (violation of General Rule 3.21) with several "loans" made to _Bason_ and -SHINZO2-. Typically anyanr "loans' _Bason_ or -SHINZO2- an amount of 12K, 15K or 20K. aryanr is then "repaid" the "loan", except that the repayment is typically several thousand gold more than the original loan. The final result is that aryanr is several thousand gold richer after each "loan". It appears that the character aryanr, then decides that the loans are unwise. Anyanr pays some excess money back to _Bason_ and -SHINZO2-. However these repayments exceed the total amount that aryanr received by 15K for _Bason_ and 3K for -SHINZO2-. I would speculate that aryanr was intended to be a new "lead character" for the multi-ring, but the owner decided that it might be safer to keep it seperate. Or perhaps it was just yet another way to boost _Bason_, who knows?
Personally, seeing rings as complicated as this, with ever more sophisticated methods for "money laundering" to the head of the multi-ring makes me want stronger penalties for players that cheat. Given the previous multi-ring scheme was blocked only to be started again, indicates to me that the penalties for such infringements are insufficient. IMO the IP of all the characters in this particular case should be blocked, not just the individual characters. This multi-ring has been caught before and was restarted, and I have no doubt that it will be started again if something is not done. *Sigh*
Grunge | Oh, and I forgot to mention. If the "donations" to the clan had actually followed the 30% rule they could unfortunately have been viewed as legitimate. Fortunately in this case the characters involved generally transfer all of their money at the time.
There really should be more careful checks placed on people applying for Clans as it seems that, in many cases, the entire point of the Clan is to enable a more sophisticated level of cheating.
Also, in my experience almost every cheater claims that the other characters involved are relatives, often boldly stating that they all play from the same IP (often, supposedly at the same time). These claims are so common that IMO there really should be extra rules preventing any economic activity *at all* between the accounts of relatives, especially when playing from the same IP. Let them do battles together by all means (although we must remain vigilant for staged combats) but the all too common claim of "but my brother/sister/wife/girlfriend is paying for smithing/enchanting/whatever because they want to" is starting to wear a bit thin. Don't you think?

It has been some time since I have had to review this case. It appears that we have a new contributor to this multi-scheme.
Foust (https://www.lordswm.com/pl_info.php?id=4661811) was given ownership of Clan # 496 on 19 December 2009. This included a transfer of what must have been all of _Bason_s wealth at the time.

As I have described above, a great deal of _Bason_s personal wealth was derived from illegal transfers to Clan # 496 (contavening the 30% rule). It appears that Foust was then given Clan # 496, including all of _Bason_s money and resources, supposedly for the purpose of taking care of the clan. Well it was rather a lot of money, when you consider that Foust was only caretaker of the clan for a period of just over a day. This is obviously just _Bason_ transferring all his wealth to yet another multi once his "clan donation" method of cheating had been discovered. Once again trying to boost a character with money from an old multi-ring - perhaps he thought no-one would notice. Ironically, once again the money has mostly been squandered on Roulette. But the wrong-doings continue.
