Authorhigh levels losing too many battles
the more u hunt the more creatures u will face next
it's hard to balance
it's very obvious among high tier creatures like angels
but u cant depend on pvp for leveling quickly after lv 6
You know what I call easy and boring? ~80 escorted guardians with full defensive talents. Well, that _is_ cheap and boring!

'Easy'? Seriously? Have u played as a knight? :)

Have u seen or heard of anyone, even ONE, switch to a knight at high level coz they find that playing as a knight is EASIER than say DE or Elf?

Pls enlighten me. I REALLY (no sarcasm here) would like to know this player. Thanks. :)

And what's the point of having a gazillion escorted guardians if you are hit 30 times before you get to go? Go check my ambushes against DE and Elf caravans. NO chance.

I have a full-health stack of escorted Guardians, when the Elf Hero cast rapid on the caravans, the huge stacks of EKF, FKs, Spirits, Faeries, GMBs, EBs, Unicorns etc have inititive of like.. 25 ! My guardians init is 9.6 (!). That translate to being hit about THIRTY times before u even get to go, and that's preying that the GMBs don't knock you back further!

Easy? Ermm.. I think not. Ask any knights if they would give up hp, escort or whatever for a little more init and I believe almost all would jump at the chance. :)

And PLEAE.. don't get me started on boring. What I eamnt is the ONE tactics used by DE.

A DE would probably die much faster in this ambush, with the same artifacts you were wearing.
with barb, why does he need to wait until level 12? He can 'start' to cry when he is level 11. :p

Well, not really true. You are missing a very important point here - It's a fact that DEs have the easiest caravans of all the factions, so chances are you are *never* gonna meet the numbers I faced in that ambush, unless u win like 50 times consecutively against that particular type of caravan.

Let's compare. We are both lvl 11, and this is the exact same type of Elf caravan we faced last:

Across the board, my caravan stacks are 3-5x yours.

We both had similar Attk/Def Hero stats, you (DE) won, I (knight) lost. Get the point? :)

MasterTI already gave the stats that knights caravans are generally a lot more difficult than DEs (and all other facvtions except Wiz), so there's no comparison really. :)

I was talking about PvP. And yes, knights pretty much pule PvP at high levels.

I'm planning on playing a bit of knight (after gaining some levels in DE and demon), just for the fun of it. :)

At least you can be hit 30 times.... I would have been dead after 2 hits.

Different factions' caravans only differ in their initial strenght. After that the "losing makes the easier/winning makes them harder" mechanism evens things out.

Ermm... I don't know, u tell me. :)

They just have:

- A unit with the fastest Initiative in the game,
- A unit with the best Speed (8) in the game,
- 2 units with no retal ability,
- A unit who does multiple hits WITH no retal,
- A unit who hits every time another of its army's unit hits,
- A caster who can cast Chastise or the game's fastest initiative, highest Speed, WITH no retal ability,
- a unit that does double strikes,

Seriously, I really don't know. Why do DE gets easier caravans? Why does everyone who have reached the highest levels in Combat, TG. HG, MG levels have all played DE.

I seriously, for the life of me, don't know. You tell me. :)
Really, try playing a DE and you'll know all other troops besides Shrews and Lizard Assailants suck. Hydras are only useful for some caravans. All the good stats of Shrews come with low number of them. They are mostly useful only against unintelligent AI.
Also an unique racial ability that doesn't help at all since almost every DEs play might after getting Shrews.
Loosing is an important part of the game,all pp wil realise that when they lvl up lol o0 !
Straws, he has played as a DE. A look at his profile will show that. Your rebuttal fails, as it does not address the fact that most top end players have played a DE at some time. Most people who rent a TGI and need to get to level 2 ASAP choose Dark Elf. Dark Elf is the ambushing race of choice.

Before Lv 3 or 4 (:

DE is only better against those unintelligent AI, the rest its pretty much tactic from both sides and DE does not top others. Only maybe in ambushes DE does have more upperhand. Minor tournament results in .ru can tell you, DEs are nowhere on-sight. DE is not overpowered, the end.
