AuthorMercenaries' Guild timer
Well, the idea is this:

When you get a quest, the time counter would only count, till you finish the quest. I mean, you don't have to return before the time ends, only solve the quest.

- It would be rational, as eg. if you kill a monster, it stops eating the citizens.. Why wouldn't you get the reward, if you managed to kill it?

- Sometimes, I have to go away, and it is so annoying eg. when you had 5 fight with an army, you lost durability, and spent many time, and you don't even get a reward, because you don't have the time to travel back from RoH..

- The last case is even worse, when you travel back, you have only few minutes left, and then get ambushed by an afk thief....

Opinions?
1: Reporting back your mission is as important as the mission itself, both in game and irl also :P

2: - Sometimes, I have to go away, and it is so annoying eg. when you had 5 fight with an army, you lost durability, and spent many time, and you don't even get a reward, because you don't have the time to travel back from RoH..
you kidding? 5 hours isn't enough for 5 attempts and travel?

3: The timer is given so that you make it a priority to finish the quest and return.

4: Can't really do anything about the afk thieves :(
1: Maybe you could send a messenger instead of you :P

2: by going away, I mean away from home.

But ok, I see... You say that there's no point in it.

Still I'd like it to be done :P :D

Why accept a quest if you can't play start to finish? And if it's a matter of emergency that you had to leave, then it's just that - an emergency; it's hardly worth a compensation in a game. :/
