There is no one to remember the name of the being who chronicled an ancient battle, nor time when the being did, bringing through ages the name alone: "Throne battle". It is very well known that it happened long before the present days, when only three factions inhabited the Empire and when its territories were much narrower, hardly reaching out of modern Great Capital.
With time gone, new factions joined and trained new creatures; the chronicles had been rewritten many times; each Chronicler, being a representative of one faction or another, took liberty to misrepresent the true happenings of the ages past.
At the current day, Chroniclers count almost twenty different variations of the Throne battle chronicles, with different Heroes and Victors. But there is still an important section that persevered in history since the day it was written by its original Chronicler, and that one section is of utmost importance.
It narrates about Gabriel, the Griffin rider and Jarod the Loremaster. Two lords hungry for power and recognition came at each other in a battle where afore unseen creatures had been witnessed.
Who prevailed in that fight remains unknown, time snitched that part of the chronicles just like it snitched the exact date of the event.
In the honour of the Legendary battle, Her Majesty declares the start of a tournament called "Throne Battle". All faction representatives of combat level above 4 may join the Throne battle tournament. Each will be given tier 5 creatures and their recently bred upgraded analogs to control.
Each character fights without artifacts, talents, skills and guild bonuses. The participation fee is 500 gold. There are neither prizes nor registered winners for this tournament.
