I always sell it 4000 gold cheaper than the actual market price. (Only direct buy prices, no bidding prices! My own offers are excluded, too)
Get it fast - then you can still reach Thief Guild level 2 and get the invite back. So you won't loose anything! You still have more than about 10 days and it took me 5 days to get to lvl 2, so you surely can achieve it in the double amount of time!
