Besides, if i understand right, at the beginning of the battle the initiative grid is randomized, each creature getting +- 0,0 to 0,5 of initiative points, which means two creatures coming up on you in the same wave, even if they are one after another on the initiative grid, may have 1 point of initiative difference, and whilst you can stop the second with the blow, you won't much affect the first. Knowing such tiny things can surely save the day for any delaying faction. i guess just putting exact initiative time below the grid could help a lot. Besides, when demons spawn, they take as much time as Wait command, and this is not shown on the grid at all |
