3.27.1. Clan ownership can only be passed to another character either free of charge, or for the cost of its registration, i.e. 30,000 gold. In case of Military clan it can only be transferred free of charge after consulting the new candidate for leadership with the clan members. Such consulting must be held in the "Clans" section of the forum.

So, basically, about 80% of the server's clans are illegal? Because most of them have this technique (for example: "joining fee is 700, the recruiter keeps 200 gold and sends 500 to the clan treasurer"). Even if they don't have this system directly, they still have a point system that rewards recruiters in one way or another. And you could even say that awarding a recruiter with points that get him a higher rank (which award him an art as a gift for newly acquired rank or some cash) could be seen as a monetary reward for recruiting. |

And also, yes, most of clans use financial pyramids even though it is against the rules. But unless players of those clans dont object, it is ignored right now. |
