| I Just became level six and I want to smith. I was really excited untill I found out that when I repair something, I dont get a full smithing point. I get about a tenth of a point... Who can tell me what items I can get the most smithing points from while spending the least amout of money to repair? |

each 4000 gold spent on repair in your smith gives you 1 point to your smith guild.
So repairng SoM will give you a little bit less than 3 points. |
if you want to be smith, you need to invest a lot of gold. around 3-5 millions before you reach max. actually, in theory, you need 11.5 millions to reach max level in repairing and finally start to charge for your services, but cheaper way to become a max smith is to repair for others. and here is how you do it:
first get to 30% at your own cost (repair for yourself). then find people that would be willing to use your blacksmith. you can advertise here: https://www.lordswm.com/forum_thread.php?id=121
your prices should be low at first, in order to attract regular "customers", but you increase them (prices) and reduce your cost as you progress
for 30% efficiency you should charge 10%-15% of cost (you pay other 85%-90% which is heavy)
40% efficiency, charge 20%-25% of cost and you pay the rest
50%, charge 35%-40%
60%, charge 45%-50%
70%, charge 60%-65%
80%, charge 100%
90%, charge 120% or 110% for old customers, and this is when you start to make some money
it's a long trip and it requires a lot of patience. before you continue, you have to be sure that u are gonna play this game for a long long time for all that to pay off. in the meantime you will be poor :)
and try to enroll more or else you will never reach your goal. |

I would also advise a back up money source.
For eg.Dont sell your elements,keep repairing with the money you have and when you end up being so poor that you cannot afford full arts then you can,quicky sell the elements to get yourself out of trouble. |
in summary, You will need millions for max level. even to reach just level 3.
