Clans can only be sold for 50k as per this rule:
3.27.1. Clan ownership can only be passed to another character either free of charge, or for the cost of its registration, i.e. 30,000 gold. In case of Military clan it can only be transferred free of charge after consulting the new candidate for leadership with the clan members. Such consulting must be held in the "Clans" section of the forum.
Note: this rule was made when clans still costed 30k to make, but the price has since been increased to 50k, so the cost of registration (which clan ownership can only be transferred for) is 50,000 gold, not 40 gold which you transferred |
