i created an alt (moki-) and set myself as referrer

i did it without realising there was a reward for referral

i assume it's illegal to do this, so if someone could clear the referrer field, that'd be cool.

It's not illegal (as long as you don't break any other rules of course). And you can have up to 2 alts.
