bad idea
its got no point.... xD |
why? it saves everyone the time of waiting till the bitter end, (one could even introduce an honour point system for that) and a frustrated looser won't waste the obvious winner's time. maybe at the bonus of less hp loss and one bonus xp... |
what if someone just spoil the fight purposely? so, all he need is 1 click and run away while leave teammate behind. |

This is possible right now. The only difference is that the click is not in the game, but at the top-right corner of the browser window.

I disagree. The winner should decide if he allows his opponent to retreat and save some hp, but he should get a bonus for doing so (perhaps a fixed FSP bonus or something... can be decided later). This, coupled with harder penalties for AFK'ing, would serve as a great idea to eliminate some of the intentional AFK'ing.
Besides, this way it would be almost obvious that once a person has requested safe passage for his troops (aka Retreat) and was denied, if he then proceeds to AFK, it would be intentional and punishable by a severe penalty. Thus, the introduction of the "Retreat" option would help the administration root out those with less-then-honorable intentions.
I agree with the idea, it was possible in HOMM, why not make it possible here too... |
