When the battle starts he has 9 knowledge, but the longer the battle takes, the higher his knowledge becomes (a bit like the speed of the creatures ^_^)
His max mana remains 90 so it is just a graphical bug ;) | Little correction.
It seems to work also for the caravans of DE, so most likely for all caravans.
Each 10 turns, so when the creatures get +1 speed, their hero will get this +1 knowledge (only graphical) |
